Privacy Policy
We only use your details to answer your enquiry and look after your motorcycle.
Redline MotoLab is an independent motorcycle workshop in Croydon, South London. This policy explains what information we handle and why.
What we collect
- Booking and contact forms — your name, telephone number, email address, the service you need, your preferred date and time and anything you write in the message box.
- Motorcycle details — make, model, registration and mileage, so we can prepare parts and quote accurately.
- Photographs you upload — images of damage, paintwork or a fault. These are stored privately and are not published anywhere.
- Telephone, email and WhatsApp enquiries — the contact details and message content you send us directly.
- Advertising attribution identifiers — where you arrive from an advert or campaign link, identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid and UTM values are stored with your enquiry so we know which advertising actually helps riders find us.
- Measurement data — with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement as described in our Cookie Policy.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, confirm bookings, order the right parts, carry out and record work on your motorcycle, contact you about that work, and — only with your consent — to measure how well our advertising and website perform. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who may process it
Redline MotoLab staff, and the service providers that run this website on our behalf: our website and database hosting provider (which stores your enquiry and uploaded photographs securely), our email delivery provider (which sends the notification of your enquiry to the workshop), and — subject to your consent — Google for Analytics and Ads measurement. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms. Where we need to arrange an MOT, we share only the details required with the authorised MOT station.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only as long as needed to follow them up. Service records and related invoices are kept for as long as we need them to support work we carried out and to meet UK accounting and tax obligations. Uploaded photographs are kept while they are relevant to the job and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
